The Suzuki Boulevard M50 was a v2, four-stroke Cruiser motorcycle produced by Suzuki between 2005 and 2019. Max torque was 50.89 ft/lbs (69.0 Nm) @ 3200 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 51.9 HP (38.7 KW) @ 6000 RPM.
Engine [edit | edit source]
The engine was a liquid cooled v2, four-stroke. A 83.0mm bore x 74.4mm stroke result in a displacement of just 805.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).
Drive [edit | edit source]
The bike has a 5-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-disc, manual.
Chassis [edit | edit source]
It came with a 130/90-m16 front tire and a 170/80-m15 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The front suspension was a inverted telescopic, coil spring, oil damped while the rear was equipped with a link style, solo shock, coil spring, oil damped. The Boulevard M50 was fitted with a 4.09 Gallon (15.50 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 544.54 pounds (247.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 65.16 inches (1655 mm) long.

Even though seeing the 2006 MY Boulevard M50 might make you believe that the M stands for "mean". However, Suzuki's M series comprises radical roadsters with aggressive, low designs and powered by liquid-cooled engines. The M50 is the smallest member of the family, but it's hard to say this from afar. The machine packs solid big bike looks, with cast wheels, aggressive stacked exhausts with a slash-cut end, a teardrop tank fluidly blending into the seat, and upside-down forks.

Low, mean and reassuring, the Boulevard M50 is a great city slicer, but it will feel just awesome on the open highway. The 805cc v-twin has plenty of grunt for fast hauls, but still provides a confident feel in all scenarios.
The new model year brings an updated speedo with an added fuel gauge and a new design for the front brake master cylinder, brake lever, clutch lever and handlebar switches.
2007 Suzuki Boulevard M50 Limited [edit | edit source]
The base version of the Boulevard M50 got updates for the 2007 season, so it was almost natural to see Suzuki delivering this middleweight in a limited trim, too. The special edition Boulevard M50 Limited got a metallic silver paint complemented by darker tribal accents on the tank and rear fender. On the tech specs level, the bike is unchanged from the base version.

The 2008 MY Boulevard M50 is a great choice for the newer riders who haven't built up enough confidence to get at the helm of a bigger M machine. This beast is powered by the proven liquid-cooled 805cc v-twin, and has the same shaft-operated transmission, sporting pretty much the same ergonomics as the C50 model, but the overall attire is much different. the Boulevard M50 is a mean-looking roadster with cast wheels, the iconic Suzuki frowning headlight, and sport-inspired USD forks.
The C series are built for showing off, the M bikes are build for scorching the asphalt and it's hard to mistake the Boulevard M50 for a tamed, lazy bike. If modern-looks muscle is your thing, then the M50 may be one of the top choices in the middleweight segment.

The 2011 MY Boulevard M50 sports the modern "frowning" headlight nacelle, probably one of the most recognizable sigantures in the whole cruiser world. The M50 is a middleweight cruiser but it proudly shows off a lot of elements inspired from the bigger machines.

This cruiser boasts the iconic frowning headlight casing that's become a trademark of the family, with the instruments and indicators separated between the tank top and the headlight nacelle, tall risers for the handlebars and an beautifully arched fuel tank above the v-twin power plant.
